The cruiser leaves the lodge just before sunset and the party are taken into the bush as the African skies start to burst into colour as the sun says goodday to the mountains and meadows and grassy veld that seems to go on for miles and miles and miles.  The minister and photographer  are along on the safari and the ceremony takes place with the sunset as a backdrop.  Everyone shares a champagne toast after the vows have been exchanged before returning to the lodge where the bridal couple and their guests (if they have any) are served a delicious bushveld bridal dinner to be remembered … always and forever.

The luxury honeymoon tent is sprinkled with rose petals, champagne on ice and loads of little “extras” that add to the romance.  Bridal couples can stay on for a honeymoon, be it 3 nights or more with plenty of activities to keep them busy and plenty of peace and tranquility to heal the mind and soul and spa treatments to rid the body of any built up stresses.  And…. with romantic picnics, bushveld wine tasting tours, microlighting, hiking and so much more on the activities list, bridal coupes normally return to the African bushveld lodge over and over and over again.  An experience that is truly Africa in every sense of the word and treasured by couples throughout the world.

We have viewed many photo albums collected from clients and friends who tied the knot in the bush and one common denominator is the African sunset.  Breathtaking doesn’t even begin to describe the beauty given off by an African sunset.  The excitement of having natural wildlife witness your exchange of vows in the bushveld is difficult to explain and many couples feel that the bushveld weddings are the most romantic of all wedding packages on offer today.  In true African style, the atmosphere is relaxed and everyone seems to go with the flow of the day.
