Natasja going for a game drive
Game drives are very popular at the lodge and Derrick takes guests out at least twice a day. The most popular one is the sunset game drive. It is so beautiful that couples have decided to grab the opportunity to say “I DO” in the middle of the bushveld, under the African sky, as it gently sets with a kaleidoscope of colour spread for miles around. What a magical feeling!!!
Couple are transported back to the lodge after the ceremony where a very very romantic dinner awaits them in the privacy of their room or, on the terrace just outside the room. If it’s an elope wedding, a small table is decorated with covered chairs and tie backs, candles and lanterns and the bridal couple relax and enjoy the romantic moments in the bushveld. An extremely memorable evening.

Should the wedding be bigger with more guests, a luxury braai can be arranged in an area of the restaurant or even, if not too many guests, the braai can even be done on the terrace of the honeymoon suite. Wine and champagne can also be arranged. Weddings on Safari are uniquely AFRICA and there isn’t anywhere in Africa that can beat those arranged and done at sunset, at the Tamboti Lodge.
